Thailand

Sunset over tropical beach with traditional wooden boat and limestone cliffs.

Thailand 2027

A traditional long-tail boat rests along the turquoise waters of southern Thailand, surrounded by limestone islands—a glimpse of the destination at the heart of our first Fourth Quarter journey.

The Journey Begins

THE PLAN

THE PLAN

THE PLAN

The adventure begins long before the plane leaves.

Follow the planning, research, routes, budget and discoveries shaping Thailand 2027. Every decision along the way becomes part of the story.

That establishes the first chapter perfectly.

TRAINING

THE PLAN

THE PLAN

Preparing the body for the adventure.

Thailand isn't just something to plan for. It's something to physically prepare for. Follow the work to build the strength, endurance, mobility and health needed to experience the journey fully.

LANGUAGE

THE PLAN

LANGUAGE

Learning to communicate before I arrive.

Follow the year-long process of learning Thai—from the first words and phrases to hopefully having real conversations. The goal isn't fluency. It's connection.

CULTURE

REFLECTION

LANGUAGE

Understanding before experiencing.

Learn the customs, traditions, religion, food and everyday life of Thailand before arriving. The goal isn't simply to visit another culture. It's to understand and respect it enough to become part of it, even if only for a little while.

THE TRIP

REFLECTION

REFLECTION

When preparation becomes experience.

October 25 – November 11, 2027. Follow the journey through Thailand as it happens—the people, places, unexpected moments, photographs, videos and stories that no amount of planning could create.

REFLECTION

REFLECTION

REFLECTION

What did the journey change?

After coming home, we'll look back at what Thailand taught us—the people who changed our perspective, the assumptions we got wrong, the moments we'll carry with us, and what we'll take into the next journey.

Because the real measure of an adventure isn't just where you went. It's who came home.
